I cannot believe little Alexander is 3 weeks old already-the days (and unbelievably the nights) have flown by.
This is more a reminder for myself -now that my hospital bag checklist is written up (and about to be packed) I started thinking about the neccesities I'll need post baby-the vitamins and remedies below were total emotional life savers when I had Oliver and I'm hoping they work their magic again this time round. Remember I'm not a Dr so please ask yours or your midwife before taking anything.
So today was my 20 week scan and if you haven't guessed already...it's a boy! Am totally thrilled as I always imagined myself with two boys (although I appreciate I will be utterly outnumbered in the house and Arsenal might never get turned off the box)!
Woop Woop! Today I had a three month scan as there is most definitely a little bun in the oven: a sibling for my 2 year old. We are all very excited. On hearing the news, said 2 year old (and 2 months) stated, "Where is it? Want to see it? Cut it out".
My baby toddler turns 2 today. TWO WHOLE YEARS! So much has happened since his dramatic entrance into the world. We've lived in 3 different cities, had time off, started work again, made films, changed jobs, friends, houses and all the while our lives have been irrevocably, indellibly transformed by one charismatic and delightful young man. It's amazing that such a small person can make such a HUGE impression.
I seem to have something in common with adulterers and secret agents.
Yesterday I was proud to be a filmmaker.
I've been meaning to blog for ages now but well, life has gotten in the way.
Right folks I've wanted to write this for a while and I feel very strongly about it.
Well what a year it's been....
Ah...Dad and a little case of 'chicken pox'...
