As a blogger, TV broadcaster and award-winning TV director and filmmaker, I often collaborate with brands on tailored content, freelance writing, lectures/ panel discussions, radio days, consultancy and ambassadorial work.
I can also direct, produce, film and edit video content, as well as feature and front campaign films too.
I have spoken about female entrepreneurship and maternal mental health in the House of Commons and I also contributed to proposed strategy at the Government Equalities Office stakeholder forum on gender equality and economic empowerment.
My debut book: Mumboss became a number 1 Amazon bestseller when it was first published by Piatkus/Little Brown/Hachette in May 2018, and it was listed in the top 10 business books written by women in the Independent.
Marie Claire described it as, ‘A must-read for any woman looking to balance a career with motherhood’.
A 2nd UK edition of Mumboss was printed in August 2020, and it was released with as The Working Mom in the US and Canada on February 2nd 2021.
My family and I live in Windsor, Berkshire and this platform is where I share my life and loves.
I regularly feature on TV as a presenter and/or parenting expert and have appeared on BBC World News, BBC News, ITV’s This Morning, Good Morning Britain, BBC Breakfast, Lorraine, Channel 5 News, E News and Sky News.
Nothing beats live TV in my opinion (bar having babies)!
Below, I share a few blogging highlights from over the years:
I feel incredibly lucky to have collaborated with Jamie Oliver, Westlife, Brad Bird, Ava DuVernay, James Martin, Aldo Zilli and the late Antonio Carluccio OBE amongst others.
When it comes to campaigns, clients have included Google, Yahoo, Vodafone, Nokia, Huawai, Coca Cola, Ford, SKODA UK, Land Rover, MG, Philips, Net-A-Porter, Selfridges, Boots, NIVEA UK, Aldi, bareMinerals UK, Boots and Superdrug.
Being a filmmaker, I love attending film screening, premieres and press junkets where I regularly interview cast and crew members.
It was a dream come true to interview superstar Kim Cattrall and attend a Q & A with the great Mindy Kaling, Reece Witherspoon, Oprah, Storm Reid and Ava DuVernay, interviewing Storm and Ava beforehand.
My book is another memorable career milestone. I embarked on a UK book tour for Mumboss over a 2 year period, meeting hundreds of readers all over the country from York to Belfast and beyond.
I have also spoken at Marie Claire’s Future Shapers Live, BritMums Live and on an Influnecer panel at The Internet Advertising Bureau.
Along with Jessica Huie MBE, I co-founded the former ‘Passion into Pounds’ in association with the British Library offering insight into how to turn your ideas into businesses and work on your own terms.
These events have trended on Twitter and featured in national press, reaching thousands of entrepreneurial women over the years.
Most importantly, my family and I are committed to using my platform to advocate for change, taking part in charity campaigns based both here and abroad.
I’m a proud ambassador of Concern Worldwide UK and as a family, we have previously supported both Comic Relief and Sports Relief as ambassadors taking part in a family marathon and visiting Harmony an inclusive choir in Leeds.
