For those following my blog, you'll know this summer has been all about indulgence for this family, with myself and the kids eating a lot more sugar than normal.
Always a stationary lover, I have more notebooks in my house than dark chocolate bars (and that's saying something), lined ones, black ones, retro ones, flowery ones, neon ones that can't be lost, they're literally everywhere...by my bedside table, on my dressing table in between the perfume bottles and lipsticks, in my home office, the cupboard overflowing with wrapping paper and cards, on the playroom's art desk...you get the picture!
Please tell me i'm not alone?! This summer has been about indulging for me and it all felt so wonderful and liberating, ice cream on demand, rice flour chocolate cake for breakfast (I know), eating late, not exercising much despite lots of park fun with the kids (but nothing that really raised my heartbeat) and taking life a little easy in general... that was pretty much my life for 6 whole weeks.
It's what we'd been gearing up for all summer...trial days at the end of last term were enjoyed (mostly making play dough cookies and playing in the sand pit), teachers had visited us at home (manic hoovering followed by a friendly chat with us both) and then finally, FINALLY Oliver was embarking on the biggest milestone of his little life yesterday-starting school!
A bit of fun for you all but doesn't my Uncle Mike look like just like George Clooney himself? He's even had people run up to him in the street thinking it's the A Lister for flips sake-unlikely as Uncle Mike lives in Manchester but stranger things have happened, right?!
Oliver, 4 has been testing out the LeapFrog LeapPad 3 (RRP £89.99), an educational, high performance and fun gaming device ideal for 3-9 year old's (and younger if my 2 year old son is anything to go by too).
This family loves to party and those who follow this blog knows we have a lot of get-togethers-great Greek or Italian food (usually supplied by the family's restaurants), the funniest and funnest company you can imagine (we literally laugh the whole time), music (always) and most of all (and soppiest) there's always so much bloody love in the room.
Smoothie makerDreaming of a fresh homemade juice every morning, or a nice thick and healthy mango smoothie on a Sunday afternoon? Yep me too! Well with this competition, you can!

We're now back from a glorious holiday to Halkidi in Greece (1 1/2 hours from Thessaloniki) and have returned totally refreshed and relaxed full of vitamin D, uplifting sea air and great Greek food (of which you can see more of the latter in my post A Taste of Halkidiki)...
I mentioned on Facebook recently how mesmerized my son, Oliver, aged 4 1/2 was by the movie of the moment, the modern ET, Earth to Echo. I've never seen a film, any film effect him as much as this one.
I always thought my voice was OK, that is pre-husband and procreating kids who are not so flattering. Granted, I'd never get through the first round of XFactor but I think I sound pretty awesome singing along to Beyonce in the car most days...
I am often asked about my skincare routine and although I'll be covering this in upcoming beauty vlogs I thought I'd share some of my kind, gentle must-have's that I love for my skin.
