Wow, a big day for a big boy.
Forget big today was massive. Momentous. Huge. Like the opening ceremony of the Olympics or when Robbie left Take That (then rejoined 15 years later)...Drumroll... It was Oliver's first day at preschool... although anyone would think it was my first day at school, I was so flipping nervous.
Casting director of feature films, shorts, commercials and music videos, working with everyone from Tinnie Tempah to David Beckham and also casting award winning Resident Evil ads and Blind Faith promo, super positive Nicci Topping answers questions for Wonderful Women Wednesday 'The Interview'.
When author and relational psychotherapist Vivien Sabel contacted me on twitter to kindly send me her book The Blossom Method™ - The Revolutionary Way to Communicate With Your Baby from Birth-I was close to having my second child Alexander and thought I'd honestly read enough literature on communicating with babies over the years.
I found this picture of Oliver the other day (then nearly 2) in an adorable little Santa's outfit and thought I'd share it with you! One year is such a long time for toddlers, Oliver has become a lively, independent little chap who wouldn't let me dress him as Santa this year! (Not fair!) I’ll hopefully get one more wear out of it with Baby Alexander then I might have to consider passing it onto someone else or recycling it with other baby clothes.
The lovely folks at bed-e-byes recently sent us a fabulous bedding set for baby Alexander's cot. Named Bramble and Smudge Coverlet 5 piece Bedding Bale, it's the perfect set for his minimalist style nursery (matching his Mama and Papa's mobile) and the cream colour scheme.

Not The One (below), one but the one your partner/husband/friend with benefits has agreed if you ever meet (which is extremely unlikely) you can -' you know with' or I don't know, at least kiss.
Today is the premier of a new weekly feature on the blog: Wonderful Women Wednesday-The Interview, where questions will be asked of simply awe inspiring women from all walks of life to inform, inspire and entertain.
Oliver cracks me up daily. Sometimes I wish I was writing a crazy children's TV series instead of a comedy about warring kebab shop owners...I'd have a lot of material from Mr Comedian I can tell you. Enjoys innit!
You know when you look at your baby and see all the people you love in him and just melt. That. I'm totally besotted and walking on air. I feel like this all day, every day. Apart from the 4 am feed of course and when I can't watch Take Me Out without the subtitles on because the kid's wailing. Then, maybe, then, I'm slightly less besotted.
This year wasn't even a big birthday (I turned 32)-I know, I look 25 right, but it's true, deal with it. Seriously though, I feel super lucky that I was so spoilt by family and friends.
Wow, it's my blog's 2 Year blogiversary (well it was on the 10th but I'm combining it with my 32nd birthday) and I can't quite believe it: two whole years since my very first post and I'm no longer 16 anymore. Shucks.
...Oliver is often confused for a much older child as his language skills and vocabulary are pretty astounding. He's also bilingual (*proud face)...I actually started speaking at 6 months old (really-if you meet me, this won't surprise you, I talk a lot) so I think he might have taken after his Mama.
