These two having the time of their lives.
Love smoothies all day long!
Read about the 40th anniversary celebrations at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Do you know the ingredients to a perfect day? Well, I do *smug face.
So half term was part 'chill out' time and part 'let's start prepping for our move down south'. We won't move until the summer and whilst I lived in London for 11 years before relocating back when Oliver was 1, it feels like quite a big move as we have two kids now.
Christmas is a wonderful time to vacay. A chance to escape the chilly British weather and enjoy a Christmas dinner far less ordinary. Paella with sea views? Yes please!
The last few weeks have felt like a bit of a dream if I'm honest. A gorgeous sunny adventure in one of my favourite parts of the world: the South of France with good as gold kids and my sweetheart of a husband. I've felt like a lucky, lucky lady after quite a busy year.
Bonjour mes amis! Thanks for linking up last week folks and for all your lovely comments. This week I have another piece inspired by our Southern French holiday and it's the lessons learnt in Cannes. Don't miss it.
Raithwaite Estate is one of our all-time favourite places to escape to, by the Yorkshire coast, in Whitby, just an hour and a half away from where we live.
I'm going to kick off this post being entirely honest (as I always am) and state that Sunday at Geronimo Festival in Leeds was not a fun day, overall.
Oh the wonderful weekend, where did it go? It feels so long ago now and it's only Tuesday, and I'm missing running through russet fields at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and breathing in that crisp autumnal air, squinting at sunlight filtering through the trees.
I literally can't believe my baby boy, Xander turned 3 on Sunday, my charming, loveable, second born son is simply growing up too quickly and I'd like it to stop, STOP I tell you- I want him to remain my baby always, and I suppose he always will be just that, my littlest, youngest love.
Bonjour mes amis, I'm excitingly off to the Cannes Film Festival for a long weekend away and I simply cannot wait.
Saturday saw me train-it to Birmingham, taking my Mum along for the ride (my biggest supporter, it was so sweet she wanted to hear me speak) as I shared my experience as a full time blogger at Tots100's Blog Camp in Birmingham.
This weekend saw us ensure 'passportgate' never happens again with a trip to very lush Liverpool, one of our favourite cities in the UK, to submit and order Oliver's new passport (yay)! Gloriously sunny for the most part it was ice creams at the docks and some shopping in my favourite city of style, with new jeans and shirts for Peter, Topshop frocks for I and some toys for the boys...
Last week saw 'part' of this family spend 7 days in Marbella, staying at the palatial Casa Haniel, a James Villa Holidays' villa in San Pedro, above, for a fabulous, relaxing, fun and invigorating week away.
Isn't summer time simply the best (when they kids aren't making us feel like we're going slowly insane that is)- so far we've had some gorgeous Vitamin D fuelled days in the garden and out and about in glorious Yorkshire to make us happy. Why not get yourself a lovely glass or jug (ha) of Pimms and enjoy some of my favourite photos taken so far this summer-carefree, fun days pf the kids enjoying the rays:
PMT is of course the aptly named tense period before your ERM actual period. Lasting for anything from a day (lucky lady) to actual weeks (really) it is truly a pain in the ass (or uterus in this case) for many. Yes some see few pre menstrual symptoms while others have a horrendous old time waiting for Aunt Flipping Flo to arrive.
Sunday was a day of drinking fine wine and feasting as Greeks around the world and anyone following the Julian Orthodox calendar, celebrated Easter.
