I love being a blogger, it's so diverse and stimulating with no one day being the same, and I get to work with brands I LOVE. You can't ask for more than that from your job right?
One of the more unexpected elements of my blogging career has been the modelling opportunities that have come along with it.
While in Jamaica something a little bit surprising, and absolutely incredible happened.
Tomorrow we will be heading off to London before we embark on a family press holiday to Jamaica with Beaches Resorts. We'll be staying at the luxury Ocho Rios resort and can't wait to discover a country we've never been to before.
You know those times when you literally have to pinch yourself at how exciting and rewarding your job is, (and I'm so grateful too), well looking back on my day at George Northwood's salon, was really one of those days.
Just over a year ago, thanks to a post I'd written on Mummy's Got Style, I was approached by the luxury designer baby bag brand Nova Harley to model for them. At the time I actually couldn't believe it (there might have been some booty shaking round my living room to celebrate)!
Saturday saw me train-it to Birmingham, taking my Mum along for the ride (my biggest supporter, it was so sweet she wanted to hear me speak) as I shared my experience as a full time blogger at Tots100's Blog Camp in Birmingham.
Last week saw 'part' of this family spend 7 days in Marbella, staying at the palatial Casa Haniel, a James Villa Holidays' villa in San Pedro, above, for a fabulous, relaxing, fun and invigorating week away.
Blogging is utterly brilliant isn't it?! Thanks to my style blog Mummy's Got Style originally and this post HERE, stunning luxury designer baby bag brand Nova Harley hired me to model their beautiful changing bags, and nearly 1 year to the day, and 3 campaigns later, I'm hugely proud to be their model and ambassador.
Welcome back to #brilliantblogpsots again, last week broke the record with 217 posts linked up. Wow. Thanks so much for your support and sharing the blog love.
Exciting News, I’ve Been Signed as the Face of The Essential One (& win £300 Baby Clothes Hamper to Celebrate)
So, as you've gathered from the title of this post, I've continued to merge my blogging and modelling career (the latter borne from the former!) which still makes me pinch myself by the way, and have been signed as the face of beautiful boutique baby and maternity wear brand The Essential One!
How gorgeous are these hoodies by LeaversHoodies.com?! Don't worry, my kids aren't some crazily-gifted 5 and 2 year olds off to uni just yet- LeaversHoodies.com make beautiful, soft hoodies for little ones too!
Hi guys, it's #Brilliantblogposts time again, as always link up your favourite posts, archived, new and as many as you like. The more, the merrier!
I love working with me&i and have collaborated with them for years now-they're a seriously cool, super-fun, vibrant Swedish brand for kids (and ladies too), that really embody that retro vintage vibe for modern families everywhere. Look at the bright kids line below-bursting with funky prints, truly happy-making fashion for kids of all ages.
So yesterday saw me head to Manchester for a special meeting with renowned modelling agency Nemesis. One of the biggest modelling agencies in the UK, they discovered and made so many of today's British stars, famous: Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Melanie Sykes, Vernon Kay, Michelle Keegan and as of today, they're representing little old me!
Yesterday was a rather special day for this family as along with my husband Peter, our child Oliver, 4 and my friend Sharmin who was visiting from Amsterdam, I attended the world premiere of Paddington.
It's a real honour to be hired to model for luxe bag company Nova Harley again after the successful shoot last year.
