Modelling Chanel Sunglasses

The other day, I received an exciting email from online sunglasses boutique Pret a voir asking  if I might like some Chanel sunglasses to model and review. Obviously this took a lot of careful thought and consideration as you can imagine….So about half a millisecond later, I gracefully accepted while dancing round the living room!

I simply adore all things Chanel, who doesn’t and these Chanel 5171 C5013c sunglasses in black with white side bows are such classic favourites from Chanel’s collection, they’ll simply never go out of style.

Peter, my husband/personal photographer (handy that) and I had a lot of fun shooting in the garden once the kid’s were asleep and post hairdressers (do you like my new highlights?) and the glasses have arrived just in time for my holiday to Portugal next week. I can’t wait to rock them by the pool and on the beach!

You really can’t go wrong with black shades and I adore the bold shape of them, the pretty white bows on each temple and the tiny, oh so subtle double c logo inlaid on each.

This model is made from hand made Italian acetate, polished in traditional methods for 48 hours to produce the lustrous glossy finish. The lenses provides full UV protection and feature a back surface anti glare coating to allow the most comfortable vision (reading in the sun anyone?).

The lens is also where Chanel place a unique serial number  providing authentication of your glassses and what’s super lovely is they arrive in the prettiest of quilted Chanel hard cases, drawstring bag and microfibre cleaning cloth.

The case is presented in a beautifully branded black and white Chanel box too along with care instructions and a certificate of authenticity. Perfect for a gift (to yourself of course!)
