Beautification Inside Out

Honest MumNothing of course replaces healthy, seasonal food-tonnes of fruit and veg, lean meat, pulses (you get the picture) but vitamins help ensure I get everything extra I need, especially at times of sleep deprivation (always), times of PMS (oh those dreaded days come weeks) and much needed sun rays in a bottle when Blighty can’t provide the real thing!

Vicki-Honest Mum

This post is dedicated specifically to the vits which help to beautify my 33 (young) self from the inside out-from caring for my skin, nails, hair, bones and keeping me healthy of course.

You ready?

Evening Primrose Oil (proven to help breast pain in PMS, this also makes for great skin). 1000mg a day.

Vitamin D-everyone needs sunshine and often we just don’t get enough-I take 25ug a day to get my fix.

Vitamin A with fish oils-helps skin, vision, metabolism and vision. 8000 iu a day for me!

Vitamin C-500mg chewable (& raspberry flavour) to help keep my immune system in check.

Spatone-100% natural iron supplement. I love this gentle iron rich formula and take 1 sachet a day, 2 around the time of the month. Keeps iron count level and also helps to reduce eyebags-pass the spatone!

What vits do you take?
