The Perfect LBD.

Saturday night was spent with old friends for a girly dinner at one of my parent’s restaurants The Olive Tree, catching up, enjoying great Greek food and the odd glass of Prosecco too.

I was lucky enough to be sent this beautiful Baukjen dress titled the Jessica Dress (usually £89) so thought I’d show it off to the girls. A UK size 10 it fitted perfectly but in comparison to Topshop was more of an 8 or 9 (!) but I felt being a bit snug, held me in better!

And frankly, no wonder it’s one of Baukjen’s best-sellers, this body-con contouring dress is the softest, sleekest curve flattering dress I think I’ve ever worn. Really.

Double layered, it’s sculptured to give you the perfect fit and I felt really supported too. A fan of the deep V-neck, again it flatters fabulously and could be dressed up or down, in this case up with my statement Accessorize necklace.

My fab new snakeskin print shoes are Clarks too (I would have picked them in up in suede blue too but they didn’t have my size) and with a block heel, they’re high but not neck-breakingly so and so chic too. Well done Clarks!

My clutch is a River Island gold box like creation I’ve had forever (and will always love).

I also rocked a side plait as I’m sure you’ve noticed, a change for me from wearing my hair down (often up in the day of course) but rarely plaited for an evening out-well it will be more from now on!
