I adore this dress!

The most perfect LBD.

Wow, it's that time again (are the weeks getting quicker or is this what happens when you get older, you lose track of time!)...
What a glorious whirlwind!
We're huge fans of John Lewis here from bedding to beauty products-there's no other store I love more when shopping solo with time to browse and buy.
I love kids' fashion and dressing up my two mini-fashionistas.
Last September saw me hot foot it to London for a shoot with Red Magazine for a digital campaign with Superdrug showcasing the store's new in house brand: B. Make up and Skincare.
On Friday evening, we drove to London, the kids slept all the way, leaving Leeds by night and waking up the next morning in North London.
Date night started out being an ambitious bi-monthly well-date for Peter and I, but life has gotten busy so it's now more of a monthly treat, allowing us both get a bit dressed up and enjoy dinner and bubbles without little ones, for much-needed couple time.
Blogging is just so varied and stimulating and well, never (ever) boring, and I can't fully express in words (but I'll try) just how much I love working with the exquisitely refined baby and maternity brand The Essential One. It really is a dream collab for me.
This stunning figure hugging, bodycon style dress named 'Sexy Senorita Dress' by Joe Browns has to be one of my most favourite dresses ever. The minute I put it on I felt confident and happy-how can you not smile with that pretty floral print to make the boys wink (well my husband anyway) hehe!
Saturday evening saw me take out my favourite lady, my Mum, for a night at the opera-Opera North's 'The Marriage of Figaro' to be precise for a spot of culture in a spotty dress!
Yesterday was a rather special day for this family as along with my husband Peter, our child Oliver, 4 and my friend Sharmin who was visiting from Amsterdam, I attended the world premiere of Paddington.
The summer is all about pretty, bright prints for me and nothing says that better than florals.
I love a bit of monochrome and this summer Aztec style print dress in black and white from Dorothy Perkins simply makes me smile. It's comfortable enough to run around little people in but doesn't compromise on style!
So for those that avidly read this blog (thanks Big Fat Greek Family), you'll know that I've followed a low-carb (sometimes no-carb when super strict) diet for a while to help get me back to my pre-'babies' body and it's worked, really well in fact and quickly (a matter of months)... as to be honest having PCOS means my body dislikes sugar anyway and white carbs (thanks insulin resistance) and I have to work REALLY HARD to lose weight although let's face it white carbs are no good for anyone...
The fabulous folks at Whistle & Wolf gifted me this glorious happy-making tropical neon floral dress and I decided to rock it for date night last week. Silky soft with the most captivating print, this flowery frock is also ideal for weddings, christenings, parties and cocktails al fresco at sun set (can you tell I'm romantic at heart?)
