A wonderful break.
Oh Wales-it seems so long ago now that we were there but it was literally only a week ago! Luckily, I treated myself to yet another notebook (I have a REAL and pretty consuming obsession with notebooks-and stationery in general)! but this one was a necessity- and meant I could scribble down notes during our lush week away making it easier to reflect back and write this post.
A Big Greek feast.
This weekend has been pretty damn perfect.
A lot of you have been asking me questions on why I vlog since I started daily vlogging a few weeks ago-some of those include how to start, whether it's easy, worthwhile and even fun so without further ado here is a vlog about vlogging!
This family utterly adores the Rainbow Factory in Farsley, Leeds-there is simply nowhere like it, in the whole of the UK.
On Friday evening, we drove to London, the kids slept all the way, leaving Leeds by night and waking up the next morning in North London.
The weekend just gone saw this family head to our happy place of the Yorkshire Coast to spend some quality down time in the breathtaking Broom House on Egton Bridge as part of the Dorset Cereals Dorset B&B Awards campaign.
Sunday saw the sun come out to play in Yorkshire, so we rallied round to my folks' house and had a delightful picnic in their garden.
It's already Friday again with a new and long weekend upon us with the bank holiday in the UK (yay) so I thought I better share last weekend with you all, and quick! I love reflecting on our weekends together, our precious family time, where we switch off from the week before, simply hang out, enjoy delicious food, at home, or out, and take in the lush Yorkshire countryside we live in and relax.
Life can sometimes feel like a non-stop rollercoaster can't it, juggling family life, work as I/we try to be everything to everyone. The last few months have seen me take time out more, to relax daily and prioritise on what really makes my family and I happy. I always say, happy parents, happy children.
