Susanna Scott is founder of BritMums, the UK’s largest collective of lifestyle bloggers. BritMums has 6,000+ blogger representing more than 8,500 blogs, keeping Susanna busy along with her three children, aged 8, 9 and 11 and blog A Modern Mother. Before BritMums, Susanna was a marketing director in the IT space. Originally from Silicon Valley, in California she has lived in the UK for nearly 20 years.

Holiday Time! (Nearly)

We feel truly lucky to have had quite a few fabulous, memorable holidays both here or abroad since the kids have come along mostly in Europe and the Med with some closer to home in Yorkshire and Wales. Long haul flights pre kids have taken a back seat but fun and often lots of sun has never been compromised (not counting our holidays to Wales)!

When photographer Kirsty Mattsson kindly offered me a family shoot, we'd discussed a Mother's Day theme to start ( it also evolved into head shots and a style shoot too) but the most important, most utterly enjoyable part of the day was with my family: my husband Peter and our sons Oliver (4) and Alexander (18 months)-a Mother's Day shoot I'll always cherish.
