Yesterday was a whirlwind of a day as I spent it in London with my Mum (we arrived the night before) so I could speak on a prestigious panel for Mode Media first thing (Mode represent the display ads on my blogs) and set up this breakfast meeting with a panel on pro blogging and brand endorsement for a large audience of major UK brands.
I love Manchester, it reminds me of London-vibrant, multi-cultural, eclectic and a friendly city to boot with just so much to do and see for all the family.
Before our fabulous London trip, we were offered press tickets to view the Northern Ballet's latest production for kids, the enchanting Elves and the Shoemaker- a sold out week long performance in the October half term, the last day being today.
The National Media Museum, situated in the heart of Bradford, UNESCO City of Film, frequented often as child, truly contributed to me becoming a filmmaker.

Last weekend saw us head to the stunning Ox Pasture Hall Hotel for a weekend break. You can read our review HERE-warming you will want to either get a train or move to Yorkshire as soon as you do and you'll feel very hungry!
We're often kindly offered breaks away thanks to this blog here but they're usually a little far for us to head to for a weekend now that Oliver has started school...However, thanks to the lovely The Boy and Me who recommended us to review the Ox Pasture Hall Hotel, we found ourselves not too far from home, in the picturesque seaside town of Scarborough for a gloriously sunny weekend of fresh country air, fine food and family fun!
Anyone else feeling a little drained as we approach the end of the first term for our school starters? (Say yes, tell me it's not just me, please)!
