The theme of Christmas this year seemed to be relaxation for us-pure uninterrupted family time, with a self imposed social media silence allowing me to focus solely on the little ones.
So yesterday saw me head to Manchester for a special meeting with renowned modelling agency Nemesis. One of the biggest modelling agencies in the UK, they discovered and made so many of today's British stars, famous: Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Melanie Sykes, Vernon Kay, Michelle Keegan and as of today, they're representing little old me!
Yesterday was a rather special day for this family as along with my husband Peter, our child Oliver, 4 and my friend Sharmin who was visiting from Amsterdam, I attended the world premiere of Paddington.
What I got up to and bought on the weekend...
A month ago saw me being commissioned to join a group of ab-fab bloggers Ella of La Petite Anglaise, Rosie from Cider with Rosie, Catherine of Not Dressed as Lamb and Ambarina of Beauty Passionista) to undergo a bareMinerals make over and discuss the beauty label's new and exciting bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation for a film on their site.

If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don't, where've you been?!) then you'll know last night saw my family come together for another legendary party at my stunning Auntie Angelou's beautiful home under a marquee in her garden.
I am a seriously lucky lady as recently Luxe-Layers gifted me this beautiful designer dress by Brazilian designer Lucidez which I review in full over on my style blog Mummy's Got Style: HERE.
On the 2nd of July, I had a wonderfully girly day with my glam Mummy (another Mummy with style) in London as we attended the Jacques Vert press day at the very swanky No. 5 Cavendish Square.
Ever the fashionista, I love trawling online and discovering style sites I've never seen before, that can feed my obsession with all thing chic, and this week the jaw-droppingly beautiful Motilo was brought to my attention.
Zarouhi/Zaz calls herself French-Creole, having grown up in Trinidad & Tobago, but with a French passport! London is now her home, where she married a husband who works in film, and she is a working mother of two monkeys/angels so she feels she straddle many cultures.
Those who follow this blog might have noticed a little re-brand recently (hello new scarlet profile picture) from shots taken on a recent shoot I had with the super-talented Kirsty Mattsson.
