My ‘me&i’ Style Party

Last week excitingly saw me host a style party in my home for one of the most coveted brands in Sweden, me&i.

I’ve reviewed their clothes for over a year now and adore working with such a stylish company whose collections for kids and women are absolutely this family’s collective style – vibrant, unisex kidswear and understated, classic womenswear.

As you can see above, Lina, the me&i representative, had some sweet little helpers on the day.

My sons, Oliver and Alexander carefully hung clothes up before the party  began and took so much pleasure in assisting.

It’s times like this I couldn’t be more proud of those little boys.

We were so lucky with the weather too, it was March yet felt like a summer’s day so when my friends and their families arrived, it was time to play in the garden pre party!

Not before wellies on of course!

Then it was food before passion with my parents kindly providing the gorgeous Greek feast from their award winning restaurants The Olive Tree which was yummy!

Spinach pie, meatballs, falafels, potato keftedes, Greek salad and much more…

Tummies full, together with some of my closest friends, we heard from the lovely, smart and oh-so beautiful Lina on me&i’s collection before everyone tried and bought for themselves and their children.

me&i parties are totally relaxed with no pressure to buy of course, they are just a fun way to meet up with friends while checking out stunning clothes that are distinctive and original that you can’t find on the high street.

It was such a joyous day, fabulous friends and their kids coming together for a catch up, lunch and shop.

…I’m a huge fan of me&i’s black dresses, the perfect frock for day or night, flattering and figure hugging in all the right places, so opted for their classic boatneck dress for the day.

I must also thanks me&i for making me a TOTAL jeans convert too.

I have honestly never found jeans like the ones in their collection which are firstly ultra-flattering while being comfortable too, pulling you in and making your legs appear endless.

So much so, a friend of mine was convinced to buy some herself when she saw me quickly change into them at the end of the party.

I’m proud to note I now also fit into the size I wore pre-kids at 27.

It’s not been easy but I’ve gotten back into ‘my pre- both pregnancies jeans’ eventually, even if they’re actually a new pair. I promise I will dedicate a whole post to me&i jeans next month as we didn’t get chance to snap them this time, and they’re frankly too gorgeous not to share.

So there you have it, a wonderful day full of sunshine, marvellous mates, glorious Greek food and gorgeous happy-making super stylish clothes, I couldn’t recommend having a party more!
