Oh Wales-it seems so long ago now that we were there but it was literally only a week ago! Luckily, I treated myself to yet another notebook (I have a REAL and pretty consuming obsession with notebooks-and stationery in general)! but this one was a necessity- and meant I could scribble down notes during our lush week away making it easier to reflect back and write this post.
I relish the fragrant scent and calming flicker of dreamy candles in my home, and although I have small children, the minute their eyes are close on an evening, the lounge is a-light with sweet candles to soothe my husband and I. Lush.
The weekend just gone saw this family head to our happy place of the Yorkshire Coast to spend some quality down time in the breathtaking Broom House on Egton Bridge as part of the Dorset Cereals Dorset B&B Awards campaign.
I want to start by writing how incredibly grateful I am that this blog means wonderful travel opportunities for my family and I which allows us to see and experience parts of the world we've not visited before, both near and far.
After a month of illness in this family, we finally all felt better and were in much need of a retreat, a break from the norm, not far from home to simply rest, relax and feel rejuvenated once more.

I've recently become addicted to yoga, a healthy addiction naturally but an addiction all the same, I feel like yoga is a secret everyone should know, I want to scream, "Do yoga it will change your life" from the roof tops people-a bit like when Cameron Diaz informed me to drink more water in her cute but slightly patronising and highly repetitive 'The Body Book' yoga and drinking water equals happiness (pretty much).
