Although I'm always candid about the tougher parts of parenting on the blog (Honest Mum, right), I love to share the more joyful moments too, of which there are many, because childhood should and so often is, pretty magical is it not?... And this post certainly demonstrates that so read on but be prepared it's a bit of a heart-melter.
The title of this blog post might sound a little silly as what follows is an answer to a question not usually, if ever come to think of it, is asked of me (no doubt because I'm pretty well known for my deep, unwavering love of blogging and vlogging) yet it's one I want to document, for me as much as for you.
I wrote this post yesterday but ironically my day was so bad, I went to bed early and didn't get around to posting. I can laugh about it now as today is most definitely a new and much brighter day, but yesterday, yesterday sucked BIG TIME.
How wonderful that the Queen is celebrating her 90th year! Her first birthday was on the 21st of April and was marked with a great many celebrations- with many more to come in June to celebrate her official birthday.
I don't fall for the 'I don't like Valentine's Day because it's too commercialised' kind of statements-I fittingly love, LOVE, LOVE it! Why? Because it's a day to celebrate love whether that's romantic or otherwise and no one can have too much love (or red roses) can they?!
Wow, are the Christmas holidays over already?!
What a break!
Where to begin with what we got up to?!
Firstly, RELAXATION was the name of the day, every single day, amigos.
So today I bumped into an old boyfriend in the post office, as you do (this never happens).
It was really sweet seeing him again, especially as the last time we met up was about 17 whole years ago-and now we're 35 and 36 respectively.
Wow.
I'm going to start this post with a warning as there are some SERIOUSLY cute baby pictures coming up and if you're feeling broody, your clock is gonna go into overdrive! Ouch, there goes my ovaries!
