I was a multi-award winning screenwriter and director pre blogging and vlogging (winning awards at film festivals internationally, Ch 4 and more) and I'm now writing my first book Mumboss for Piatkus/Little Brown under the Hachette umbrella.
We all suffer from crippling self-doubt at times, second-guessing the shizz out of ourselves, comparing our style, opinions and lives to others mostly online, often feeling lacking in some way, that we're not pretty/slim/curvy/smart/successful enough.
My kids never look cuter than in their PJ's to be honest, and I'm that mum who likes to match her offspring in twinning nightwear. Twinning is winning, after all!
I've always had decent, naturally strong, rounded nails. They hit their peak when I was pregnant to be honest-oh how I miss my preggie nails..they were the strongest, longest nails I've ever had when I was up the duff (my hair was at its silkiest too).
This post is a bit of fun, people. Obviously I wouldn't change my procreating ways for the world. My boys are my world and life is enriched, funnier and more fun because of those bambinos... But sometimes, sometimes I miss the more selfish, carefree pre-kid days I enjoyed and thought you guys might relate too.
