You may remember how last month I revealed this family are card-carrying members of #TeamTickly! You see, when it comes to facial hair we can't resist the stubble and love nothing more than furry, giggly kisses from the Papas in our family.
Surrounded by bearded men (my brother Solos is the only clean-shaven guy in our clan), it's safe to that this family is 100% #TeamTickly.
Furry, giggly kisses are the best and both my sons love nothing more than showing their Grandad (aka Papa G) or their Dad, Peter, affection through tickly kisses.
Last week saw 'part' of this family spend 7 days in Marbella, staying at the palatial Casa Haniel, a James Villa Holidays' villa in San Pedro, above, for a fabulous, relaxing, fun and invigorating week away.
Mother's Day has gotten me thinking about the simple things I love about motherhood, the little moments that make me appreciate being a mother more than anything in my life, when my kids aren't tantrumming of course, fighting over which Peppa Pig episode to watch or refusing OVER and OVER to share (yawn)....but here are the times when it's truly JOYOUS:
I found myself scribbing away after dinner on a dog-eared bit of paper (simultaneously trying to watch XFactor on Catch Up), all the things Alexander can now do, aged 1.
Mothers Day always holds a special place in my heart, more so now that I'm a mother myself. I have always celebrated it, also sending cards and flowers to my beloved Grandma when she was alive. In the UK, Mothers Day is the 10th of March so I want to dedicate this post to my Mama, the family's rock: an inspiration and hard act to follow.
