It's not often you receive an invitation to attend a premiere at Kensington Palace and yet that's exactly what happened to me just last week. A blogger's life is never short of surprises that is for sure!
Sunday saw us head to one of my brother's Italian restaurants: Giorgio's set in a gorgeous listed building in Rodley, Leeds for an epic three course feast.
One of our most favourite places in the world in the Rainbow Factory in Leeds, a haven for kids (and parents), it seamlessly merges EPIC fun with education, opening up new and well-loved literary worlds (and more) to kids aged 2-8.
I reckon I might just be a bit of a Peter Pan ( why there isn't a female equivalent to the youth-chasing PP I don't know, but that surely requires a whole other post)- essentially my point is, I refuse to GROW UP or more so, I don't feel that different from the 21 year old girl I was erm, (Googles a calculator)-14 years ago (case in point)- despite two kids and 2 c-sections (ouch) and cement thick concealer to hide my my eye bags.
Raithwaite Estate is one of our all-time favourite places to escape to, by the Yorkshire coast, in Whitby, just an hour and a half away from where we live.
Oh Wales-it seems so long ago now that we were there but it was literally only a week ago! Luckily, I treated myself to yet another notebook (I have a REAL and pretty consuming obsession with notebooks-and stationery in general)! but this one was a necessity- and meant I could scribble down notes during our lush week away making it easier to reflect back and write this post.
