One of our most favourite places in the world in the Rainbow Factory in Leeds, a haven for kids (and parents), it seamlessly merges EPIC fun with education, opening up new and well-loved literary worlds (and more) to kids aged 2-8.
With themed events that cover healthy food to Harry Potter, there’s something for everyone.
Adventurers lead the activities and add sparkle to all that they do!
We often spend weekends at the RF when we can, and Oliver had the birthday party of his life there in January too.
With staggering sculptures from well-known fairytales and books, the RF is a beauty to behold.
Hello BFG!
They even do special events and we got a sneak-peek into an Alice in Wonderland themed christening being set up whilst we were there!
The teddy bear’s picnic and bear hunt on Sunday was a chance for the kids to play, paint, read and explore-it was such a super two hours.
Just look at their joyful little faces.
My boys teddies of choice were Angry Birds!
The sun came out to play so after a sweet teddy snack we made our way to the roof garden for bear-related running games!
I vlogged the day so you can see first-hand just how magical it is at the Rainbow Factory.
There’s nothing more heartwarming than seeing your kids happy and stimulated.
They even arranged for my Dad to have a birthday cupcake and we all sang Happy Birthday to him. RF always go the extra mile.
We simply can’t recommend them enough.
Even if you live outside of Leeds, please plan a day to visit, there’s nothing else quite like it in the UK!
