As a blogger, I'm photography-obsessed, I love to shoot myself and vlog (I'm a former film director) but I'm also lucky that I have my very own personal photographer too in my husband, Peter.
Those who follow this blog know that this family are photo-mad, be it striking a pose in photographs ourselves or simply snapping family days out, the ordinary (park life, the food we love) and the extraordinary (film premieres, holidays, modelling shoots and more), usually my gifted husband Peter behind the lens.
Peter (and I ) were a bit blown away by the response to his landscape photography when I shared them on the blog recently so thank you to all who viewed, commented and shared. Now, as part of a regular photography feature by Peter, I'm sharing portraits, mostly of our children that I love.
On Saturday, my eldest son, my floppy haired, bright eyed Oliver turned 5. I actually can't believe I'm typing this out-5, it sounds so, well grown up.
Isn't summer time simply the best (when they kids aren't making us feel like we're going slowly insane that is)- so far we've had some gorgeous Vitamin D fuelled days in the garden and out and about in glorious Yorkshire to make us happy.
Why not get yourself a lovely glass or jug (ha) of Pimms and enjoy some of my favourite photos taken so far this summer-carefree, fun days pf the kids enjoying the rays:
My husband Peter is a genius behind the camera and works professionally alongside his career in IT. You can check out his stills for sale on iStockphoto here.
It's funny because despite being a filmmaker, I mostly tend to leave the photographs to my fabulously talented husband Peter. He's a pro (although his day job is in IT) and is repped by the biggest photographic agency in the world.
