Personalised Champagne Flutes: Cheers!

We were kindly sent these personalised champagne flutes from GiftsOnline4U and for those who follow this blog, you’ll know champagne is my drink of choice! Clink, clink.

The flutes we were given were a set of two simple, stylish, long cupped 19cl personalised champagne flutes and I chose to engrave them with my children’s’ names: Oliver and Alexander so we can celebrate our beautiful boys every time we crack open the Bolly!

They make stunning gifts for all the family be it weddings, the birth of babies, birthdays, christenings or even Christmas gifts with your choice of engravings.

Each message is engraved straight into the glass using a diamond cutter and is finished with your choice of silver or gold colour fill to highlight the engravement. 80 characters maximum is recommended per glass for best engraving results, spread over about 5 to 6 lines in total. I decided to keep it simple though with the names of my kids and will be drinking from them with my husband at Alexander’s christening when he turns 1.

Oliver’s christening was a 200 attendee affair but Alexander’s will be family only so I might even engrave everyone’s glasses for the day.

…I often struggle with gifts for my Dad and Uncles so I’m happy to have found the answer to my present buying problems for the men in my family with these personalised champagne glasses, perfect for special 60th birthdays along with a bottle of Cristal or even as Christmas gifts, especially because most men in my family love champagne.

I would actually love my husband to buy me some more, with our names on them, engraved with our wedding date for our anniversary in June…along with a weekend away for just the two of us in Paris perhaps (hint, hint). We actually had two weddings, a Methodist wedding in Port Elizabeth in South Africa overlooking the sea in April 2005 and a beautiful Greek one in June the following year so I was lucky to have two wedding dresses, two blessings and two celebrations (I’d even love a third-perhaps a renewal of vows)…maybe this calls for two or even three more sets of glasses too!

…The pretty flutes were delivered in a chic satin lined gift box within a few days and standard delivery usually takes between 2-7 days, although speedier delivery and next working day delivery options are also available if you call before placing your order.
