Daddy, I Made You Dinner.
Whiles I attended the Mamas & Papas Awards last night, Peter held the fort with the boys. When baby Alexander was sleeping, just before bedtime, Oliver ‘cooked’ Daddy dinner.
Returning home to these pictures, my heart melted a little. My 3 year old boy is growing up so fast! Thank goodness he’s half Greek and that half guarantees he will live with us until he’s 30 when he’ll be making us dinner for real every night. Phew…
Peter told me while playing, he wouldn’t let him have the potatoes yet as they were still cooking. Two minutes later, he said “Oh no, they’re burnt!”
…”Now you don’t touch this pot Daddy, it’s hot. I’m the adult and I’ve got oven gloves, so I can touch it “.
Wonder where he got that from…
