Saturday was certainly a dreamy affair for this family of chocolate-lovers as we rendez-vous(ed) in Harrogate for a chocolate workshop at new chocolatiers Harrogate Chocolate Tree- and proceeded to spend the most delicious two hours of our lives creating chocolate treats together, tasting, decorating and basking in all things cocoa!
I don't fall for the 'I don't like Valentine's Day because it's too commercialised' kind of statements-I fittingly love, LOVE, LOVE it! Why? Because it's a day to celebrate love whether that's romantic or otherwise and no one can have too much love (or red roses) can they?!
Wow, are the Christmas holidays over already?!
What a break!
Where to begin with what we got up to?!
Firstly, RELAXATION was the name of the day, every single day, amigos.

We are all incredibly excited to be heading to my folks' house, the home I grew up in, for the big day this year, and that means being prepared. Here I am packing the car up about to embark of one of the many #Journeysthatmatter to me, something that Esso are highlighting this season.
Are you in need of some gift-spiration this festive season?
Well fear not, my wonderful readers as I have put together the ultimate gift guide for 2015 so you can spoil your loved ones rotten without breaking the bank!
I literally can't believe my baby boy, Xander turned 3 on Sunday, my charming, loveable, second born son is simply growing up too quickly and I'd like it to stop, STOP I tell you- I want him to remain my baby always, and I suppose he always will be just that, my littlest, youngest love.
Those who follow this blog know that this family are photo-mad, be it striking a pose in photographs ourselves or simply snapping family days out, the ordinary (park life, the food we love) and the extraordinary (film premieres, holidays, modelling shoots and more), usually my gifted husband Peter behind the lens.
Folks, it's nearly Christmas! I know, it's hard to believe as it's only just October tomorrow but before you know it, you'll be buying Christmas trees and posting off letters to Santa (I've already got my hand hovering over the Chanel site, crossing fingers and toes)!
Last weekend saw my youngest son, Alexander turn 2, two whole years!
I know every parent on the planet says the same thing, but doesn't time fly, people?!
I was recently invited to attend the Christmas in July exhibition where I would see all the latest products available for kids and adults out for Christmas, but with my childcare (the folks) on a three week vacation, I sadly couldn't make it. It did get me thinking about Christmas though and despite the summer heatwave, before you know it, it will be here, a mere five months away!
We were kindly sent these personalised champagne flutes from GiftsOnline4U and for those who follow this blog, you'll know champagne is my drink of choice! Clink, clink.
Being a blogger has it's perks-as well as sometimes getting paid for posts, companies often contact me and ask whether they can send me gifts for Oliver. Check out the presents for Oliver below from Find me a Gift . Lucky Oliver!
