Honest Mum in SPANX

Loving the SPANX Jean’ish Leggings & Win a Pair Worth £89

August 29, 2017

Honest Mum in SPANX

For those who’ve followed me forever (nearly 7 years in blog land is a million IRL, right?) I ‘huge heart eyes emoji’ love SPANX madly. I rock the black Skorts on shoots/telly under my dresses, and I have some epic nude ones which go right up to my chest that I wore after having my first child Oliver (and ever since) I adore. They suck me in and make me feel and look 108764593 x more toned (and after 2 c-sections and a #mumtum forevs) I’m endlessly grateful for them.

Now I’m sure you’ve heard of/own a pair of SPANX yourself but have you heard of SPANX Jean’ish Leggings? If not, stop everything right now, and give them your attention.

Honest Mum in SPANX leggings

Made to look like jeans and feel like leggings, these beauties hold you in comfortably and give you a sass pot of a silhouette. The built in Slim-X shaping panel with light whiskering and sanding gives a visually slimming appearance and the jeggings are designed to hit at your natural waist for great coverage and no muffin top! NO MUFFIN TOP. Whoop!

I usually wear a UK 10 in Topshop and the UK 8-10 fit perfectly, the 10-12 were loose (you want them to hold you in too so I’d advise slightly smaller than your usual jeans).

SPANX jean leggings

Genius huh?! Now if Spanx could make swimwear and something to make my arms toned, I’ll be the happiest girl on earth!

These beauties retail at £89, come in black, white and denim and are available  from Harrods and online at Luxury Legs.

I’d love to win as I have a very awkward to dress apple shape and struggle to get jeans to fit. Leggings and jeggings are my faves and these ones have the added benefit of smoothing out some of my lumps and bumps too!

People say raising a daughter is tough but if you People say raising a daughter is tough but if you never say no and just give her everything she asks for, it’s pretty easy 😜. They might also be more expensive too! A 2016 study by Sainsbury’s Bank suggested that it is indeed more expensive to raise a girl than a boy. The report, based on a survey of over 2,000 parents, found that parents spent several hundred pounds more annually on daughters from birth through to their teenage years.
Key Findings from the 2016 Report
Ages 0-5: Raising a girl cost around £300 a year more than a boy.
Ages 6-13: The cost difference increased to approximately £400 a year more for girls.
Ages 14-18: The gap nearly doubled during the teenage years, with parents spending almost £600 a year more on daughters than sons.
Reasons for the Cost Difference
The primary driver identified in the research was clothing.
Girls’ apparel tended to be more expensive than boys’.
As girls got older, they developed an interest in accessories like shoes, hats, and bags, which further increased expenses.
Other studies have echoed these findings, noting that the costs for essentials like food and transport were largely the same, but fashion and personal care items widened the spending gap. #girl #research #data #didyouknow daughters raisingdaughters fyp viral relatable

Severity: Studies have shown that pregnancies with HG and a female fetus might experience higher levels of ketonuria (a sign of severe dehydration) and more frequent hospital admissions.
Key Points:
Scientific Evidence: Research published in PubMed found a higher percentage of girls among those with HG, supported by further studies mentioned in New Scientist.
Other Potential Causes: Recent research has also highlighted the role of the GDF15 hormone, with higher levels in the womb correlating with the severity of sickness BBC News.
