I’m obsessed with Next who have been completely killing it style-wise all year long, no more so than with their super-glam festive collection out now.
Navy and gold makes for the perfect style marriage and this floaty dress can be dressed up and down all season long and beyond as you can see above where I rock it with rose gold converse (how dreamy, though?) in the park in Windsor, pairing it with my new M&S dogtooth print gloves and Esme Loves pendant necklace…
It was perfect for an evening soiree post Ivy lunch when I met the brilliant Bake Off winner Candice Brown at Dalloway Terrace to celebrate her afternoon tea collab with this dreamy hotel restaurant.
I opted for the size 10 in this dress which is too big if I’m honest as I find Next are generous but they didn’t have the 8 in stock. I’m going to get it taken in soon with my fabulous Windsor-based tailor, and when I tied the side ties to make a belt, in the centre it looked fine and accentuated my waist.
Comfy, pretty with the twinkling gold leaf embellishment catching the light, this is a dress which offers coverage for the bigger busted amongst us (I’m not a fan of cleavage on myself) and floaty enough to make it suitable for daytime shenanigans.
I love it!
…Whilst Next kindly gift me pieces, I also regularly buy from the store and they’re one of this family’s favourite high street stores. The boys are wearing checked shirts I bought from Next, on Christmas Day in fact, and they’ve never looked cuter.
I’ll be sharing more dresses from Next over the festive period too so look out for further fashion inspo.
Gloves by M&S and necklace c/o Esme Loves.
I literally can’t wait for the famous Next sales either, I always find amazing bargains for all the family in them and like to pick up spring and summer pieces too.
So, do you like this dress on me?
