We celebrated World Book Day at Camden Market (which spans 3 vibrant markets) in London on Saturday which also marked our return back to the Big Smoke in literary years thanks to the pandemic (bar the odd visit to Kings Cross station to catch a train to Leeds which doesn’t count)!
How we’d missed the vibrancy of the capital.

Camden Market is buzzing with endless stalls, indie boutiques, restaurants and cafes offering world cuisine and a cinema to boot, all against the backdrop of busy Camden and views of the river. There’s nowhere else quite like it.
Our culinary-meets-literary list consisted of The Mad Hatter’s Eat Me Cookies from Dzrt, The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s juice from Juice Junkiez UK and pick ‘n’ mix sweets galore at The Sweet Dream Factory Hans & Gretel before a book reading from bestselling author Gianna Pollero on a barge, no less.

What a magical whirlwind of a day celebrating The 25th Anniversary of World Book Day. A nourishing, inspiring day for all of the family and a haven for foodies too, we won’t leave it as long to return after the fun we experienced today. I just need my bank balace to revive itself first ;)!!!

Have you visited Camden Market?
