Cara Gray The Perfect View Of Paris

I’ve always been a huge fan of fashion illustration and one of my favourite artists in this field is my incredibly talented friend, artist, and blogger Cara Gray.

With fashion and art shaping her lifestyle, Cara creates private commissions for both commercial and private clients, be it magazine covers or captivating pieces to hang in your home.

Cara is also the editor of staggeringly chic UptownTwirl.com, a fashion website dedicated to fashion news, trends and style, of which many of her artworks accompany the articles.

Inspired by the glamorous and iconic world of classic fashion photography, her pieces are timeless, elegant and super stylish.

I’m honoured to announce that 1 very lucky Honest Mum reader can win her fabulous La Magnifique Vue De Paris print, pictured above, worth £180. Just gorgeous.

As well as being one of Cara’s biggest fans, I’m also lucky to be able call her my friend and I have 2 of her super chic pieces from her Paris Collection hanging proudly in my lounge.

Her prints have transformed the room adding a beautiful burst of colour to our walls and elegance to our home.

This captivating piece is also from her Paris collection, and is fittingly called Décadence.

Decadence by Cara Gray

‘As dusk falls over the city and Paris comes alive with the bustling magic of how the night will unfold, the woman is ready. Wearing a glamorous ball gown, she holds her breath once again mesmerised by the extraordinary view from her apartment. Paris is an enchanting scene all her own.’

I Cara was kind enough to gift us 2 pieces. I utterly j’adore this gorgeous A2 print titled Red (£150) below, from her Red/Rot/Rouge collection.

How chic is the girl in her rouge cigarette pants and breton stripes! I want that outfit for myself!

Cara Gray-Red

‘The woman in red is poised, enchanting and enigmatic. With daring splashes of red, bold black lines and striking use of white space – this piece will bring a touch of iconic, timeless style into any living or office space.’

And it does-

Every time friends and family visit they comment on how beautifully chic both pieces look. In fact, it’s exactly the kind of artwork I imagine Coco Chanel would have hung in her very own boudoir.

Back to the competition-the striking print on offer is  La Magnifique Vue De Paris captures one of the world’s most iconic views.
