You've got to love social media. When my now-friend, PR, Lucy Hird from Red Consultancy asked to meet up last week to chat biz, life and food glorious FOOD (a mutual obsession of ours), she was adamant we had to dine somewhere a little bit unique and special (Starbucks just wouldn't do) so she got her thinking cap on...
Oh Wales-it seems so long ago now that we were there but it was literally only a week ago! Luckily, I treated myself to yet another notebook (I have a REAL and pretty consuming obsession with notebooks-and stationery in general)! but this one was a necessity- and meant I could scribble down notes during our lush week away making it easier to reflect back and write this post.
We've all experienced those #ItHappens moments in life! You know the sort...you're just meandering along, getting on with life and then boom, disaster strikes. That DIY project goes haywire, you spill coffee all over your laptop or you suddenly realise your wedding ring is M.I.A. It Happens! It's life's unexpected accidents that make it so important to protect your world and prepare for the unexpected with the right home and contents insurance. I've teamed up with leading insurance provider MORE TH>N to share my very own #Ithappens moments and raise awareness of the 6 million Brits currently undervaluing their home and contents insurance.

Life can be a little bit surreal at times and in some respects it can feel, well, a little bit full circle. I know I'm being ambiguous but bare with me... On Thursday night I attended the film première of Eddie the Eagle, a movie made by Lionsgate UK, a company I used to work for.
This Sunday was the first day of spring and the sunniest we've had since last summer, so there couldn't have been a more perfect day to head to Sheffield and take part in the incredible Sport Relief's Games. Ready...Steady...Go!
On International Women's Day I had the honour of attending the gala dinner for the launch of Girls I Rate, the brainchild of Carla Marie Williams: a round table of women within the creative industries who celebrate and support other women with an aim to forging and strengthening relationships between them.
I LOVE my blogging life, it's everything and more I could have wished for from a way of life and full time job which sees me share what matters to me.

Mid January (the 13th to be precise) saw me spend an evening with healthy, new yoghurt drink Optiwell, a bunch of bloggers, and my newest collaborator here on the blog (more of that soon) registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist Laura Clark, at the Cowshed in Shoreditch House, London.
It's that time again folks for #brilliantblogposts linky, and the post I'm linking up, is a SPECIAL one-I've joined forces with brilliant blogger Emily of A Mummy Too on a DREAM collab with Iceland on their #Poweroffrozen campaign over the next few months.
