This Sunday was the first day of spring and the sunniest we've had since last summer, so there couldn't have been a more perfect day to head to Sheffield and take part in the incredible Sport Relief's Games. Ready...Steady...Go!
On International Women's Day I had the honour of attending the gala dinner for the launch of Girls I Rate, the brainchild of Carla Marie Williams: a round table of women within the creative industries who celebrate and support other women with an aim to forging and strengthening relationships between them.
I LOVE my blogging life, it's everything and more I could have wished for from a way of life and full time job which sees me share what matters to me.
Come check out our shop.
Mid January (the 13th to be precise) saw me spend an evening with healthy, new yoghurt drink Optiwell, a bunch of bloggers, and my newest collaborator here on the blog (more of that soon) registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist Laura Clark, at the Cowshed in Shoreditch House, London.
It's that time again folks for #brilliantblogposts linky, and the post I'm linking up, is a SPECIAL one-I've joined forces with brilliant blogger Emily of A Mummy Too on a DREAM collab with Iceland on their #Poweroffrozen campaign over the next few months.
As I mentioned in December 2015 (that seems so long ago now)! 2016 is the year of the collaboration for me, and that it is!
filling the car with presents We are all incredibly excited to be heading to my folks' house, the home I grew up in, for the big day this year, and that means being prepared. Here I am packing the car up about to embark of one of the many #Journeysthatmatter to me, something that Esso are highlighting this season.
Sometimes it takes a Yorkshire lass to arrange a London meet-up, ha!
I'm going to start this post with a warning as there are some SERIOUSLY cute baby pictures coming up and if you're feeling broody, your clock is gonna go into overdrive! Ouch, there goes my ovaries!
Those who read my blog will know that I'm a huge fan of Cosatto, and have been lucky to work with this beautiful brand over the last few years.
This year, it must be stated, we've had the most incredible fun decorating our Christmas tree (below). Past years have seen me decorate our tree solo, or when little helpers have intervened, a few Christmas tree related disasters have followed: smashed baubles, twisted branches, tears over faulty twinkling lights and tantrums over tinsel I ended up binning (who likes tinsel over the age of 5 anyway?!)
Tuesday night saw me attend the opening night of 'The Girls' at the Grand Theatre in Leeds.
Last Saturday night saw me pretend I was 21 again as I celebrated my cousin Georgia's 21st.
Anyone who lives or has lived in Leeds, will know that Arts Cafe's sticky toffee pudding is the stuff of legends!
