I love a bit of monochrome and this summer Aztec style print dress in black and white from Dorothy Perkins simply makes me smile. It’s comfortable enough to run around little people in but doesn’t compromise on style!
I think it’s perfect for a sunny day like the shoot day but could be dressed up with heels by night. I love a versatile frock!
…I’ve really seen Dorothy Perkins raise their game stylistically over the last few years. I’m a huge fan of their tea dresses, usually in bright florals and also their neon and breton striped tops. They really seem ‘get’ what women want-good quality, easy to wear, chic pieces.
The only items I stay away from are their jeans which although prove to be a flattering fit the first few times, don’t seem to wash well at all, stretching out to at least 2 sizes bigger than originally. So I’m sticking to their dresses!
Gold bangle is Topshop, necklace is Stella & Dot.
And back to one I love here…
Kirsty of Kirsty Mattsson Photography was behind the camera for this shoot taken on the green we overlook from our pretty front garden. It’s a brilliant communal space for ourselves and neighbours and faces open countryside, ponies and a farm in the distance-it’s an idyllic place to live with my family, in the countryside yet 20 minutes from major cities.
If you fancy a peek inside (some) of my house do head to my post on my other blog (Some) of My House-it’s a sponsored post but you should enjoy a snoop!
