Sesame Street Cupcakes.

After a magical holiday at Beaches Resort, Ocho Rios, Jamaica last year, and an initiation into the wonder that is Sesame Street for my own children (my husband and I were long time fans), I wanted to incorporate these famous and muc-loved characters into my son Oliver’s 6th birthday party, last week.

He’s now an even bigger Sesame Street fan than I was at his age!

Check out our dreamy press trip to Beaches Resort in Ocho Rios in Jamaica where we had breakfast with the Sesame Street gang and enjoyed performances and carnivals with them too! Pure magic.

How utterly beautiful and authentic are these cupcakes. They are literal works of art. Edible works of art!

Andrea is a genius dab hand when it comes to baking- from beautiful birthday and wedding cakes, to specialist novelty cakes and delicious cupcakes like these- no brief is too tough or detailed for Andrea.

These are gluten-free to boot.

Even the biscuits in the Cookie Monster’s mouth are wheat and gluten-free. Imagine re-naming him the ‘Gluten-free Cookie Monster’! Ha!

Stunningly handmade, vibrant and the image of the Sesame Street gang, my kids literally squealed with delight at these dazzling cupcakes which are almost too pretty to eat. Almost!

Next time I order, I’ll ask her to make them vegan because since this post was published, I’ve become plant-based. I know that won’t be an issue either. Sesame Street novelty cupcakes for the win, huh!
