Those who follow my blog know that I’ve always been a champion of natural beauty products. I suffer with sensitive skin that’s easily aggravated (as does my eldest son), so we only ever use 100% natural products here.
Why eat well then put chemical-laden products onto your skin?! It makes no sense to me. Treat your entire body like a temple, people!
It’s been a while but here comes a beauty post from me!
…I was recently gifted a wonderful hamper by Caudalîe, the luxury Parisian skincare brand purely because they were fans of my blog. They made it clear was no obligation to feature them here (which is always admirable by the way) but I absolutely wanted to after spending the last month using these products and falling head over heels for them!
I actually discovered Caudalîe years ago whilst holidaying in France, after spending many an hour in the incredible and luxurious pharmacies over there- and kept my cabinet full thanks to Space NK stocking them in the UK. I haven’t until now used their anti-ageing products though (mostly because I’m in denial of being 35)- but they certainly lived lived up to my expectations and are wonderful.
Not only are their products 100% natural, they’re also entirely green too using only environmentally ingredients sourced from the vineyards of Bordeaux, Champagne (ooh la la) and Burgundy.
Items contain 3 key ingredients: Grape-seed Polyphenols which are the most powerful anti-oxidant in the plant world; Resveratrol from grapevine stalk which is a revolutionary anti-ageing ingredient; and Viniferine from grapevine sap aka the most effective natural molecule against dark spots.
The creams were lightweight yet effective and I’m not kidding when I say I noticed results immediately.
All the women in my family have now gone out to buy them they’re that good!
One product I’ve used for years from their collection I can’t live without, is the Divine Oil for hair, face and body, composed of an enchanting blend of oils (grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan). It smells so, well ‘divine’ that I usually forgo perfume when I use it on my hair.
I was given it for my birthday a few years ago and it’s a staple on my dressing table with my mother even referring to it as a my signature scent. Sorry Chanel Mademoiselle!
I adore all the products though so do have a read for my complete round-up and get your credit card ready!
From Left – Right
Radiance Serum (£45)
Named the number 1 anti-dark spot product, this lightweight, age-defying serum corrects and prevents dark spots, evens skin tone and boosts skin’s radiance. A miracle worker, it even helps reduce sunspots, acne marks, scars, and damage, giving you the complexion of your dreams, and in no time at all! I’ve noticed my skin is clearer and brighter since using this. It does exactly what it says on the ‘tin’ and will make your face radiate!!! Go get that glow!
Face lifting soft cream (£42)
Only one word adequately describes this moisturiser and that’s…WOW! A light and nourishing cream, it smooths your face and plumps the facial contours giving you that ‘I’m only 22’ kind of look. Older relatives have noticed a reduction in wrinkles too when using it so this is one that will go the distance.
Eye lifting balm (£36)
The delicate eye area aka bags the size of Hermès Kellys, require a cream that can help smooth lines, reduce puffiness, dark circles and lift those eye lids up. My sleep-raiding kids have ensured my eye bags need all the help they can get and after just two weeks of using this cream I’ve stopped using concealer. Mamas, get this balm now!
Deep Cleansing Exfoliator (£18)
Scrub away life’s impurities with this restorative face scrub. Its unique and delicious whipped cream formula leaves skin clear and moisturised and I love using it whilst soaking in a hot bath.
Divine Oil (£27)
Divine by name, divine by nature, you know my intense love for this product. An all-over, multi-purpose body oil, I spray it on my body, hair and nails as well as adding it to the bath or in a massage oil to relax and enrich my body and mind. I literally don’t remember my beauty regime without it!
Glycolic Peel (£22)
Cold winter weather can leave skin feeling dry and dull right? Well, this is where Caudalie’s Glycolic Peel comes in! A total babe of a skin saviour, this 10 minute mask acts as a scrub and peel, resulting in a new skin effect. Ideal for winter, this will get your glowing all season.
Beauty Elixir (£11.50)
Trust me when I say this is a make up bag essential. It’s a cult fave amongst make up artists and it’s easy to see why. Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s elixir of youth, this powerful plant based anti-dull complexion treatment smooths away fine lines, tightens pores and gives the complexion an instant boost of radiance. I’ve used it pre-make up on shoots and have loved the effects. Amazing.
Natural beauty at its best!
