Introducing Designer Kids’ E-Shop Melijoe

Introducing Designer Kids’ E-Shop Melijoe.

My sons’ wardrobes are a real mix from high street fare to the odd supermarket buy and designer pieces for special occasions.

I do love the quality of designer clothes and having two boys has meant my oldest child, Oliver’s finest pieces were passed down to Xander-timeless, quality items that went the distance, washed well and still look as perfect as the day we bought them, years later. Designer pieces are not cheap but they last and are worth their money.

Here the brands we keep returning to are Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Armani Junior, Paul Smith Junior, Moschino, Tommy Hilfiger and Boss.

I tend to buy designer clothes online or at designer outlets for the best prices. Buying in the sale is a must too, I do love to pick up a bargain where possible!

Discovering Melijoe, an online shop brimming with the finest designers in one small place, has meant finding new collections from brands I love for myself, but rarely think of for my kids. It’s been a real eye opener and I’m rather in love with the quirky boys’ pieces online there.

I like to buy my boys clothes at least one size too big as my sons are tall for their age and this way I can get the most longevity from the items too.

This family always seems to have weddings, christenings and big family parties to attend (we’re Greek originally so having a large family means lots of exciting and rather glam events all year) so I’m always in need of chic shirts, chinos and jackets for the boys.

Here are just some of the brands I’ve discovered thanks to Melijoe and my favourite pieces for boys currently on the site.

Roberto Cavalli Kids

Roberto Cavalli

Both boys suit grey, (like their Daddy) and this Cotton Poplin Shirt is ideal for a formal family event. £115

I adore this three-tone ‘Grandad style’ cardigan too. It’s one that will never go out of style!  £174.

Fendi is another label I rarely think of for my boys yet look how chic and sweet this Fendi knit sweater is in grey, with white, black yellow and peach detail-it reminds me of a little owl face-adorable. £151.

I’m also currently seeking well made designer shoes as the weather warms up and we plan for holidays.

Ralph Lauren canvas sneakers are loved here (the boys have worn them since being toddlers) and these white ones are a real bargain at £37.

I’m also a fan of these deck shoes by Tommy Hilfiger at £40-

Tommy Hilfiger

Perfect for our upcoming holidays in April and May. Roll on the sunshine hey!

I’ll be sharing more summery picks from Melijoe then too so watch this space!

Do check out their site and if you choose to subscribe, you’ll receive a complimentary £10 towards your first purchase as well! Nice!

Their blog is a must-read too bursting with style posts where kids’ clothes take subtle inspiration from the catwalk. Their baby and girls’ range is utterly gorgeous so it’s not just for boys either! Go check them out!
