I need to no excuse to dress up as regular readers here know!
I adore glamour and love nothing more than donning one of my favourite LBDs, a dazzling necklace and killer pair of heels.
This is why I’m such a fan of the festive season.
A busy social calendar means I’ve been getting my ‘frock on’ a few times a week recently!
Earlier this week, I attended ta glamorous Christmas meal with some of the other mums from Oliver’s school and of course I needed the outfit to suit!
What do you think?
Here I’m wearing this stunning collared lace dress c/o Wallis with my favourite Vivienne Westwood peep toe heels with a tortoise shell bow c/o Sole Trader. Earrings are from my great friend Sharmin in Amsterdam and are by Jutka & Riska.
Lace is one of my favourite fabrics as it feels so luxurious to wear! The perfect party outfit!
To keep me toasty and warm, I’m wrapped up in this 1940’s vintage coat my mum bought in the 80’s and I decided to borrow it forever 😉 recently! Isn’t it luxurious?
Make-up wise, no party outfit is complete without a sultry smokey eyes and a bright pink lip.
However, there is one downside to all this socialising, as my poor feet bear the brunt of high heels. Ouch!
However, these stunning Viv West beauties are worth the pain right?
As they say, prevention is better than cure, so before heading out to meet the girls I gave my feet some TLC to make sure they were in tip top condition! I also ensured I wore foot cushions, heel shields and had a pack of blister plasters on hand too!

It’s easy to forget about looking after your feet, especially in winter when they’re encased in tights and socks, but I noticed a huge difference from using these products and two days later, my feet still feel super soft.
All the products smell utterly delicious and I can’t recommend enough- the Pedi Set from Scholl which removed dry skin and left my skin literally feeling silky soft.
I used it before I went in the shower then exfoliated with the fragrant bare foot peppermint and plum foot scrub, and then followed it with the refreshing bare foot lemon and sage foot balm.
With my feet prepped, I then applied the heel and ball gel cushions to my shoes!
Foolishly, I have never used these before but they made such a difference! My feet didn’t ache once all night!
A slick of bright nail varnish to finish off and I’m ready to go…
My literal party saviours!
Tights on, it was time to party!
