I love interior design and as a creative, feel it's important I put my own stamp on our house, so it truly reflects our family, style and eccentricities too!
Christmas is a time of non stop scoffing.
A second trip to the buffet, polishing off that bottle of champagne, stealing your hubby's mince pie when he's not looking..! Yep...I'm guilty of all of those, and tucking into chocolate round the Christmas clock too!
I relish the fragrant scent and calming flicker of dreamy candles in my home, and although I have small children, the minute their eyes are close on an evening, the lounge is a-light with sweet candles to soothe my husband and I. Lush.
It's the most wonderful time of the year isn't it?!- and that means little ones deserve utterly darling, stylish and super-comfortable shoes to wear this winter for parties, family fun, and most importantly the big day.
Home decor has always been a passion of mine and I love searching out handcrafted, artisan home ware that will give my home a certain je-ne-sais-quoi, those statement pieces that will add character and show off my personal style.
I’m excited to announce that I’m running another mouth-watering competition which gives you the chance to win this must-have 'The Adventures in Chocolate' Hotel Chocolat hamper (worth £120).
Strolling through the forest in my black block suede boots from New Look, this darling red coat on my back c/o Jacques Vert, I felt like a 30 something (not so) Little Red Riding Hood.
Within the gorgeous gift bag I left with after the wonderful dinner with Antonio Carluccio himself a few weeks ago, were the ingredients to recreate his exquisite pappardelle al funghi-so I gave it a whirl at home.
I hope you love it as much as we do!
Readers who also follow me on Facebook, will know that my husband Peter has developed his own fan club of late.
OK time for some honesty... put your hand up if you really only follow the blog to swoon at Peter...?
OK you can put your hand down now ;)
