Strolling through the forest in my black block suede boots from New Look, this darling red coat on my back c/o Jacques Vert, I felt like a 30 something (not so) Little Red Riding Hood.

I felt daring, yet elegant and ladylike in one full swoop in this coat-the ruby tone and length making it the epitome of timeless style.

So much so, my own mother told me on seeing me in it, that while at university she had an almost identical coat herself in black.
