So 'passportgate' was rather stressful but it sort of all ended up for the best with each of our sons getting undivided attention and time from my husband and I respectively.
I enjoyed Marbella with my toddler and folks and Oliver and Daddy had a truly wonderful week in the UK with sunny adventures in Yorkshire where we live, and mini breaks in Liverpool, Southport and Anglesey in Wales, fishing, catching crabs, playing in fields, visiting castles and having lots of father-son bonding time.
This weekend saw us ensure 'passportgate' never happens again with a trip to very lush Liverpool, one of our favourite cities in the UK, to submit and order Oliver's new passport (yay)!
Gloriously sunny for the most part it was ice creams at the docks and some shopping in my favourite city of style, with new jeans and shirts for Peter, Topshop frocks for I and some toys for the boys...
The theme of Christmas this year seemed to be relaxation for us-pure uninterrupted family time, with a self imposed social media silence allowing me to focus solely on the little ones.
Last Saturday we got up early at 6am (what's new) and set off to the former European Capital of Culture (2008), the utterly beautiful Liverpool for bustling chestnut smelling- Christmas markets and Ice Festival fun in the centre.
