Last Friday was mine and Jessica Huie MBE's 'Turning Passion Into Pounds' workshop with the Business & IP Centre and The British Library- and I'm proud to declare it was a resounding success. Yay!
Home decor has always been a passion of mine and I love searching out handcrafted, artisan home ware that will give my home a certain je-ne-sais-quoi, those statement pieces that will add character and show off my personal style.
This week, as part of my Wonderful Women series I interview Belinda Hall, the founder of the Home of Artisans, an online community marketplace that supports and promotes artisans from around the world, and sells their beautiful hand crafted pieces.
As it's Wool Week, I have a special edition of my Wonderful Women series featuring the two entrepreneurs, Cat and E-J — or Emma — who are two friends who live in the UK but hail from New Zealand.
Life is busy right now. Crazy busy but I've never been happier. I love being rather manic, it's my default mode, and doing what I love: blogging and all that that entails is constantly stretching and stimulating me. I feel ALIVE people!
So hear me out-yes I realise the Kardashians and their multi million dollar world take-over is largely a constructed reality served to us by this shiny-haired, perfectly coiffed family who play up to their self-created/perpetuated 'characters' and all look great in white, but I actually really flipping enjoy it!
