So today I popped over to one of my all-time favourite blogs, The Joy Chaser, written by my good pal Michelle, who never fails to inspire and spread joy through her words-and this post of her's HERE stopped me in my tracks and reminded me of the importance of fighting our fears.
This post was originally going to be dedicated to several famous women and their words of wisdom (I'm a bit obsessed with collecting these kernels-see my Pinterest Board Wise Words for evidence)- but then I had second thoughts-why not ask the women in my life whom are my friends, colleagues and collaborators, to share their pearls of wisdom instead?!
I struggled to find a title I liked if I'm honest to begin with, I wanted to simply let this post flow before I pinned down the exact words I hoped would draw you in. That would encapsulate the meaning behind my words.
Being creative can be hard work. Hard to get the words onto the screen for that next draft, hard to get the confidence to write the book, launch the blog, heck even write that funny tweet. Creatives are riddled with self doubt. Fact.
