There are many perks to having a super stylish mama like mine!
There’s the bond that comes with having a shared passion for fashion. There’s the wonderful mother – daughter retail therapy days and there is of course…the hand-me-downs!
AKA the fashionista’s equivalent to the family heirloom.
So last Sunday, when we went over to my Mum’s to photograph her wearing her gorgeous gifted outfit by Celuu at John Lewis (more on that in a bit), I was delighted to be given this striking Dalmatian coat of hers.
Isn’t it divine?!
Dating back to the 1940s, my mum actually picked up this coat from a second-hand boutique in the 70s! A true vintage beauty!
It is one of those rare gems that you would be hard-pressed to find on today’s high street and I’m so happy my mum passed it down to me to enjoy!
It’s going to get a lot wear that’s for sure!
A big fan of clashing prints, I teamed the coat with my Liberty print shirt c/o La Redoute when I did a campaign for them, and this stunning statement necklace by Yosa. The perfect ‘collar’ for my Dalmatian wonder!
Here I am with my own little pup, Oliver! He wears tee from Tu at Sainsbury’s and Tommy Hilfiger jeans.
My skinny jeans were picked up in Tesco (F&F) and might just be my all time favourites-perfect fit, smooth finish, they remind me of other designer pairs I own and for a snip of the price. Boots are New Look.
And here I am posing with my super sassy mama modelling a stunning, effortlessly stylish LDB and pink waterfall cardigan all gifted by Celuu available at John Lewis.
Mum sure felt a million dollars!
The perks of being a style blogger’s mum hey! 😉
Love this pic! Such a natural beaut!
Quick family snap before we headed off to my parents award-winning restaurant The Olive Tree.
Xander thought a tennis racket would be the perfect accessory. I still need to teach him a thing or two about fashion…
Below Xander wears shoes c/o Pisamonas, jeans c/o Me&i, jumper by Next and tee from Tu at Sainsbury’s.
This is why I love Sundays! Such a wonderful afternoon with the family! Thanks to my husband Peter for snapping us all. Fashion+Family=Happiness!
