At the end of August, I was invited to Jalon Vally in Spain to stay in a charming villa c/o James Villas (you can read my review here)…
I’ve been incredibly lucky this year with fabulous press trips for the family and I-we had a summer of fun with memories to cherish.
This was my second getaway with James Villas this year (having stayed in one their Marbella villas in the spring) and along with dreamy holidays, the other perk to travelling the world is the holiday wardrobe that comes with it!
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some simply exquisite clothing brands through the blog, that make packing for holidays an utter joy, and one of those beautiful brands is the luxe swim and beachwear brand heidi klein whom I collaborated with for a shoot in Jamaican earlier in the year, HERE.
For the Espana shoot, I was kindly gifted some statement swim and beachwear from their latest collection which can only be summed up in one word – divine!
I was initially invited to their stylish flagship store on Westbourne Grove to select and try on the pieces for the shoot, planning ahead pre-holiday.
Their store is a mecca of chic beachwear, instantly transporting one from the rainy London streets to the French Riviera.
A swimwear fan’s candy shop equivalent. Delicious!
Once the items had been viewed and arranged, it was time to jet away.
The villa and surroundings were the perfect setting for the shoot-vineyards as far as the eye could see and azure blue and bright white walls at every turn (an Instagrammer’s dream)!
With our own private pool, my husband (and photographer), Peter shot me wearing the first piece poolside at the villa.
…Before heading down to our very own vineyard (cheers!) for a different shot-I told you Jalon Valley was idyllic. Just look at that view! Lush.
Here I am wearing the Fira D-G Adjustable One Piece (£200). How incredible is this Mediterranean blue shade? Turquoise is such a stylish choice, it’s perfect partner being gold and silver.
As always, heidi klein’s swimwear is perfectly suited to every kind of figure too. As it is underwired, it provides perfect support and coverage -making it sophisticated and incredibly flattering too.
The silver adjustors on the neck strap are both a stylish touch and functional addition, allowing you to create the uplift you desire.
Importantly, the great thing with heidi klein clothing is they really last.
I’m still wearing pieces that are years old.
They always retain shape and the colour doesn’t fade either – which is brilliant considering they’re worn in the sun, salty sea, and chlorine treated pools.
Additionally heidi klein also specialises in beachwear accessories, so I paired the swimsuit with this chic Grace Bay Medium Raffa Bag (£270) and matching Wide Brim Hat (£125).
These versatile accessories are perfect for the beach but equally look as stylish, paired with a dress and sandals when heading out for tapas and a sangria, or you know, simply posing in a vineyard as you do!
The fair trade tote and hat are both handwoven in Madagascar using high quality natural materials too. Eco friendly and stylish. My kind of accessories.
And for the finishing touch, I completed the outfit with these super cool Double Stud Bracelets in tan and snakeskin (£49 each).
Not just for holidays, I love how stylish and on point these bracelets are and I’ve been wearing them non-stop back here in the UK.
I love the palm tree detailing on each stud. Plus they’re developed with sensitive skin in mind, which is ideal for me.
There you have it-stunning swimwear by heidi klein.
I hope you like the shoot, I’d love to hear your comments.
