Nautical Style

Ahoy there fashionistas! This week I’m showing off one of my all time favourite trends – nautical!

My wardrobe is full of nautical stripes (all I need is the ‘P-Diddy style’ luxury yacht as an accessory and I’m all set), and I’ll be showcasing ‘riviera chic’ in Cannes for the film festival soon and it’s a style I go back to time and time again.

One of my favourites is this off the shoulder boatneck striped knit I was recently gifted by me&i. I’m a huge fan of Breton stripes, so much so I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to them.

Nautical stripes are eternally chic-red lipstick, Breton stripes and cigarette style pants can take a girl anywhere! I paired with clashing Clarks snakeskin print heels and bold sparkly earrings I picked up in Marbella recently.

This gorgeous knit top (£75) is one of those classic garments that never goes out style, the perfect addition to any capsule wardrobe. It’s so versatile! In terms of cost-per-wear, it will be a real bargain. The great thing about me&i clothes is the quality. Their pieces last and last.

Made from 100% cotton, the top is so soft and gentle against skin you could literally use it to wrap up a newborn in! I love the raw edged that create a slight rolled effect.

I paired my nautical delight with these fab me&i perfect pants (£52). If I’m honest I’m not really a trouser girl having always preferred dresses and skirts, but these trousers suck you in (really) are so flattering I’ve converted!

These are the perfect ‘desk to dinner’ pants. The classic cuts makes them perfcet for the office, add a pair of glam heels into the mix and your ready to hit the cocktail bar!

As any fashion blogger worth their salt, I headed to a picturesque river near my home and posed beneath the blossom trees. So, so pretty.
