What a PR mailer! Hats off to the BBC Press Office for this Amandaland themed #soha tote in burgundy as if received directly from the character of Amanda herself, I shall be rocking on the school run from now on!

I’m deeply touched that Amanda is a big fan, especially of my keto raspberry mousse recipe, haha!
Season 2 of Amandaland is on iplayer now and is as distinctly funny as ever, following Amanda as she continues her mummy influencer career, has to navigate her own mother’s romantic escapades, find herself a more fitting house (aka larger) and sees an unlikely nemesis in Anne!
A much deserved Bafta winner and complete cheerer-upper, it’s been just what I needed after a relapse with my back injury brought on due to weight lifting.
After 6 days lying on my front, unable to move and in complete agony (again), I am now walking again, thankfully.
What a brutal few months it’s been. At least the second series has provided me with quality time with my teens (we all adore how honest it is in depicting parenting older kids) and given me (often painful) fits of laughter.
My boys adore the show as much as I do so I know they’ll be totes (get it?) impressed with this hashtag gift!
This spin off had a lot to live up to with the achingly hilarious Motherland but the tone is different here and the format feels original (no mean feat).
Amandaland is more intentionally silly and outlandish to fit Amanda’s character, whereas Motherland, whilst just as funny, was more of a realist comedy drama in my opinion. Both timeless comedies we’ll be rewatching forever.

Hyperbolic, outrageous and laugh out loud funny, Amandaland is just what we need right now as the world feels like it’s imploding a little. Thank you to the BBC!
