Many are facing unimaginable hardships, from displacement caused by war to the struggles of growing up in poverty. 

Circle of Toys, a part of the international social network for aid Circle.Help CIC, focuses on a simple but profound mission: to connect children in need with people who can share kindness through the gift of toys. Since it was founded, thousands of children from countries like Ukraine, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt and other countries have had their wishes fulfilled by generous individuals across the globe.

 

Why Toys Matter

For children, a toy is more than just a toy — it’s a symbol of hope and joy, a way to escape into a world of imagination, even in the most difficult circumstances.

Take 4-year-old Muhammed, for example. He had to flee to Egypt with his family because of the war in Palestine. His home and sense of security are gone, but he dreams of receiving any toy to help him cope with the uncertainty of his life.

Then there’s 3-year-old Maria, who moved to Kyiv after her hometown in eastern Ukraine was occupied. She loves animals but is allergic to them, so her humble wish is for a cuddly toy cat.

These small but meaningful wishes represent over 14,000 active requests from children currently registered on Circle of Toys. Every request is an opportunity for someone to bring a smile to a child’s face and remind them they are not forgotten.

 

How You Can Help

Getting involved is simple, and there are two ways you can make a difference:

1. Send a Toy: Browse requests from children on www.circleoftoys.online and choose a specific child to send a toy to.

2. Drop Off a Toy: If you’re in London, we’ve set up collection points where you can drop off new or gently used toys during the month of December.

Every gift, no matter how small, sends a powerful message of love and hope.

For families struggling through war, displacement, or financial hardship, receiving a toy is not just about having something to play with; it’s about restoring a sense of normalcy and joy. It’s a reminder that they are seen, cared for, and loved.
