Embroidered Dress of Dreams by Next

This stunning dress c/o Next was perfect for an spectacular Christmas Eve lunch at the exquisite Cliveden House Hotel.

We were kindly given two elegant rooms for a private dining experience dreams are made of. Luckily I had the dream dress to with this stunning embroidered and embellished dress by Next (£90). It would make the perfect frock for New Year’s Eve too if you’re searching.

Heels are Office, bag is a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30.

…I love the sheer bell-sleeves and ornate flower detailing on the dress and know I’ll wear it year after year. Next are generous with their sizing (I often get a size 6 there as I tend to wear 8 or 10 elsewhere) so definitely go down 1 or 2 sizes. They only had the 8 available in this dress so I had it taken in but it needs taking in more as it’s still too big on my hips so I’ll be back to adjust it again.

This year has seen me lose a stone a half all thanks to taking intolerance tests and walking 6 miles a day most days. A complete overhaul to my diet and lifestyle brought quick but long-lasting results. I still have a mumtum and areas that need toning but I’ve generally lost weight from all of my body. Most of all, by making sure I exercise every day which includes yoga twice a week, I feel mentally stronger too.

After a month of indulgence over Christmas, it’s time to return to normal eating (but wow has it been fun).
