Designer Kidswear with Melijoe

Every now and then I love to indulge on a few designer pieces for boys, especially for special occasions such as weddings, holidays and big family gatherings.

Like their adult counterparts, kids’ designer clothes combine excellent quality and craftsmanship, as well as pushing fashion boundaries in a way that you don’t often find on the high street.

From Stella McCartney to Moschino, most designers also offer a children’s range that is equally as stylish as their adult lines.

The fabulous online store Melijoe is the perfect one stop destination for all children’s designer labels and a firm favourite with the likes of Vogue, Grazia and ELLE. The site is really easy navigate and they also offer free delivery too.

Oscar De La Renta

 

 

Whilst us adults would need to remortgage our house to afford an Oscar De La Renta dress, his range for stylish tots is much more affordable with prices starting from under £50. Oscar is undeniably the king of dresses and his children’s range lives up to this well deserved moniker-

Stella McCartney Kids

Stella McCartney is one of my all time favourite designers for both adults and children. Her kidswear launched in 2012 and is refreshing, playful and oh-so chic. Importantly, her label is synonymous with sustainable fashion, offering ethical and consciousness style.

First and foremost fashion should be fun and these summer shorts absolutely tick that box! They are priced at £56.66.

 

 

This percale shortall combines chic tailored design with an eclectic print. Perfect for trendy bambinos everywhere. It is priced at £52.88.

 

 

Yellow is one of my favourite colours for the Spring/Summer season and I love the cut of this broderie anglaise lace dress. Priced at £86.88.

 

 

Sharks are a running theme throughout Stella’s current kids’ collection (see above shortall) and I love the geometric take on this toothsome predator. Priced £34.00

Burberry

This popular British brand launched its children’s line in 2001. Serving up quintessential British style, its kids’ collection features traditional tailoring, classic style and –  of course – the iconic Burberry check.

 

These vintage high top trainers are the perfect way to subtly work the iconic Burberry signature print into your boy’s outfit. Priced £132.20.

 

 

Understated but effortlessly chic, this classic cotton poplin shirt dress is priced at £94.93.

Bold red is the colour of the season and this double breasted cardigan is a real show stopper that will take you from season to season. Priced at £94.43.

 

Moschino 

This Italian fashion house is playful with a capital ‘P’! Known for its quirky prints and energetic design, it is one of the most genuinely exciting fashion brands around.

Be king of the jungle in this fabulous tiger illustrated cotton t-shirt (£50.62).

Marni

Minimalistic, chic and timeless, Marni is a firm favourite with the fashion pack. Favouring modern designs and natural hues, the junior collection fuses style with individuality.
