What a fab Father’s Day feast!
A huge, juicy thanks to Honest Burgers in Windsor for an epic Father’s Day feast we lapped up yesterday in their brand new Windsor branch, opposite Windsor Castle.
Truly delicious grub was chomped by all thanks to a seasonal menu and patties from their very own butchers, with vegan and veggie options too. Peter opted for the plant based patty with plenty of homemade hot chilli sauce he LOVED.
The kids’ meals can come without toppings for fussy eaters like my eldest son and the children’s portions are perfect for growing babes (no scrimping on food there)!
We appreciated the attention to detail (homemade pickles with mustard seeds, rosemary salt garnished chips, creamy coleslaw bursting with radishes and spring onions, and tangy caramelised red onion relish and spicy hot wings all packed a punch when it came to the flavour factor. Service was top-notch too at this family-friendly restaurant housed in a stunning two storey sbuilding bang in the centre of our hometown.
What a super lunch in celebration of such a loving Daddy: an absolute diamond of a rock to his family: present, kind and wise, Peter makes us proud every single day, and deserved all the extra chips I bestowed upon him when I couldn’t finish mine!
We then strolled around Windsor enjoying ice lollies and the fair by the river.
I hope you all had fun celebrating the special men in your life.
This was a gifted lunch but my words are honest.
