Here are my top 5 style tips for Spring/Summer 2015:
The 70’s are back
As the fashion weeks around the world testified, the 70’s are back with avengence, so think soft flowing locks (I modelled a boho wave for hairstylist to the stars, George Northwood recently above), flared jeans, soft blouses with fringed detail, suede waistcoats and jackets, floppy hats and let’s not forget, floral print dresses and glittery make up. I love it all! Get more inspiration on my Pinterest Board if you fancy it!
Pastels with metallics
Both pastels and metallics work well together, think soft pink with rose gold, baby blue with silver, pale yellow with gold. Stunning!
The masculine shoe and feminine dress
If you just love a girly dress, toughen it up with a masculine shoe. I like a floral tea dress with a neutral brogues.
Beautiful blouses
From 70’s distressed denim shirts to lace embellished monochrome blouses, these will work with leather skirt or bell bottom jeans if you’re brave enough.
Flowers in your hair
2015 will also see the addition of flowers to your hair and accessories – so make sure you embrace flower power in all its glory. You can add real flowers to bracelets and hairbands for quick fashion fixes and I personally love fresh flowers for a boho festive look.
That way, you get a great centrepiece for your table and a constant supply of on-trend fashion accessories!
